I have chosen this book because I've deeply interested in the annotation of the text. This text seemed to be very exciting and interesting, because I have never read something about that before. It is about a life of people that are spied everywhere whatever they are doing at the moment. The most powerful people, in other words, goverment knows absolutely about all your steps and actions. Is it no interesting and in some way strange and frightening? Our country had something really similar at the time of Stalin before the second world war, but it is the other story...
If you read first pages of the book you would know that this text was writting in 1948, but the text is about 1984. This is how author imagined the future. And I think that his predictions are right in some way, because of this I wanted to buy this book and happy that I`ve made right choice...
